Shipyard cum Minor Port Complex at Kattupalli in Thiruvallur District (North of Kamarajar Port ). It is a Deep water, Direct Berthing, All weather port with international standards.

2. Container berths for handling commercial cargo.
DETAILS OF PORT INFRASTRUCTURE / FACILITIES:
Operation commenced in January 2013.
Shipyard Complex operated by M/s. L&T Shipbuilding Ltd:
Ship-Lift, Finger Jetty, Modular Fabrication Facility Jetty
Building Offshore Platforms etc., besides Ship Building and Ship Repairs
Minor port Complex Operated by M/s. MIDPL:
Port is handling Containers, General Cargo etc.
The Port facility comprises of 1.5 KM long Nothern Breakwater, 3 KM long Southern Breakwater, 5 KM long Navigational Channel to a depth of 15 Mtrs and other harbor related infrastructure.
Container Berths 1 & 2 – ISPS compliant port facility – Commercial Cargo Handling Area.
